Over a two-day mobilisation, the team installed and configured the vessel’s GNSS Inertial Navigation System (INS). Before carrying out a comprehensive dimensional control survey. This Navigation System Mobilisation was an essential part of the process.
A reliable Navigation System is crucial for accurate survey work. Dimensional control plays a critical role in offshore survey operations. This provided the accurate offsets between sensors, vessel reference points and survey equipment that underpin reliable positioning performance.
By verifying the positioning framework during the mobilisation, the processes helps ensure accurate data acquisition, efficient offshore operations and confidence in the final deliverables.
