Spectrum 3

The Spectrum 3  is a 23 m aluminium catamaran built in 2015. She is an MCA Category 2 coded workboat and has been purposefully adapted to operate as a dual–purpose survey/crew transfer vessel, combining fast transit speed with a stable survey platform. Spectrum owned and operated she has been part of the fleet since 2021 and has a proven track record conducting crew transfer and survey projects for Orsted and Vattenfall respectively. 

The Spectrum 3  has the following survey attributes:

  • Permanently installed survey infrastructure.
  • Dimensionally controlled offsets.
  • The vessel has a back deck space of 24 m2 .
  • There is a crane on the foredeck for loading the vessels and deploying marine equipment.
  • The vessel has a comprehensive CCTV cameras system covering all areas of the vessel and is equipped with two–way radio communication between the vessel bridge, survey desk and aft deck.
  • The vessel has been proven to be acoustically quiet with an acoustic noise signature outside the acoustic frequency range of all mobilised survey equipment.
  • Stabilised power supply through rack mounted UPS systems supported by a 13 kVA generators.
  • Sever rack with network attached storage.
  • Starlink satellite internet system for data transfer and remote support/QC.
