Two of Spectrum’s nearshore vessels are wrapping up a month-long marine scope in Scotland, working together to provide comprehensive coverage of a nearshore corridor for UXO ALARP sign-off, seabed characterisation and benthic habitat assessment.
The marine works supplement an onshore aerial magnetometer and LiDAR survey carried out earlier in the summer, producing an integrated dataset from the beach through to depths of >20m.
The environmental survey marks the final phase of the project, launched from the Spectrum 1, with Benthic Solutions Limited providing drop-down video and sediment grab sampling.
