Cargo transfer

Our fleet is specifically configured to transport a wide range of cargo safely and efficiently between port facilities, vessels at anchor, and offshore assets. Spacious fore and aft deck areas provide ample capacity for project equipment, consumables, spare parts, provisions, and specialist tooling, while all vessels are certified for the carriage of dangerous goods, enabling the safe transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with industry regulations.

In addition to offshore asset support, Spectrum regularly undertakes stores runs to vessels at anchor, providing a flexible and responsive logistics service for the delivery of supplies, spare parts, provisions, and urgent equipment. These services help minimise vessel downtime and ensure offshore operations remain fully supported.

To support offshore logistics operations, our crews are trained and experienced in lifting and cargo handling activities. All vessels are equipped with deck cranes to facilitate the safe loading, unloading, and transfer of equipment. Spectrum 2, Spectrum 3, and Spectrum 4 are capable of carrying 10-foot containers and feature ISO-certified container securing points, ensuring cargo remains safely stowed throughout transit.

With extensive experience supporting offshore renewable energy and marine operations, Spectrum understands the importance of delivering cargo safely, on time, and in coordination with offshore work programmes. Our cargo transfer services help maintain operational efficiency by ensuring personnel and assets have the equipment and supplies they need, when and where they are required.

Spectrum has a proven track record of providing cargo transfer services across major offshore wind farms throughout the UK, including London Array, Burbo Bank, Humber Gateway, Thanet, Rampion, Seagreen, and Lincs, supporting both construction and operational phases of development.
