ROV inspection

Spectrum has undertaken a wide range of subsea inspection and asset integrity surveys around offshore infrastructure, including offshore wind turbine generators (WTGs) and offshore substations. These surveys utilise remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) equipped with high-definition cameras and specialist sensors to perform General Visual Inspection (GVI) and Cathodic Protection (CP) measurements, enabling the assessment of structural condition, corrosion protection performance, and overall asset integrity. The resulting data supports maintenance planning, integrity management, and informed decision-making throughout the asset lifecycle.

Spectrum has also conducted debris clearance verification surveys using ROVs following seabed clearance campaigns, confirming the successful removal of anthropogenic material and identifying any residual debris that may present a risk to operations or future development activities.

Survey-grade positioning systems integrated with our vessels provide accurate underwater navigation and positioning for ROV operations, ensuring the precise georeferencing of inspection observations, CP measurements, seabed features, and identified anomalies.
